Accreditation Process
ASCCB Accreditation Process
Our accreditation process is clear and structured, so you always know what comes next. Each stage builds on the one before it, from your first application to the certificate and ongoing surveillance.
- Step 01
Application
The certification body submits its application with details of the scope, locations and standards it wants to be accredited for.
- Step 02
Audit Schedule
ASCCB confirms the assessment team and agrees a schedule for the document review and on-site assessment.
- Step 03
Documents Review
Assessors review the management system documentation against the relevant international standard and requirements.
- Step 04
ASCCB Conducts Audit
The assessment team evaluates competence, impartiality and implementation, and reports any findings.
- Step 05
Corrective Actions
The certification body provides evidence and documents showing how each finding has been addressed.
- Step 06
Accreditation Certificate
Once all requirements are met, the accreditation decision is made and the certificate and scope are issued.
After accreditation
Accreditation is an ongoing relationship. Regular surveillance and periodic reassessment confirm that the certification body continues to meet requirements and keeps improving.
- Periodic surveillance assessments
- Scope extensions on request
- Full reassessment at the end of the cycle
