About ASCCB
Accreditation Service Board for Certifying Bodies (ASCCB) is an independent, multi-sector accreditation organisation. We support certification bodies working in management system certification, laboratory testing, inspection, product certification, medical laboratories and personnel certification.
ASCCB shapes every engagement around the needs of the certifier while keeping it fully aligned with international accreditation requirements. Our assessments follow strict audit rules and globally recognised good practice from application to decision.

Our impartial assessments help certification bodies strengthen their internal systems and processes. We also advise them on choosing the accreditation that best fits the expectations of their local regulators, drawing on our understanding of how different regions work.
ASCCB works closely with peer accreditation bodies, membership organisations and NGOs to keep improving how we operate. For newly established certification bodies we also provide Impartiality Committee services, helping them build on a solid, standards-based foundation.
By working this way we help international standards gain wider recognition and encourage quality frameworks that make trade between business communities easier, to the benefit of everyone involved.
